Could I have burned 1000 calories today??!


Question: According to Sparkspeople I have burnt over 1000 calories today. Today I have:
-walked for 1 hour, which burnt 200 calories
-Curves Circuit Training (its a gym), for 1 hour which burnt 370 calories
- Aerobics: General: Low Impact, for 1 hour which burnt 330 calories

So is this possible?? I would feel SO good if it was, but I need to know the truth :)

Sure it's possible, and your numbers sound about right, give or take a few.

But is 3 hours a day working out realistic for you to maintain? Remember, you want to adjust your diet and exercise to be for life, and not just to get to a goal and then stop.

Yes, it's very possible. Most people do nowhere near 3 hours of dedicated exercise a day, that's considered a lot. I mean, doctors are still trying to persuade people (without success) to do half an hour every day.
