Is this okay?!

Question: I have lost 15 pounds in about.. ehhh not 100% but I think around 2 1/2 months. I am 5'4 and happily down to 214 lbs. I have about 79 pounds to go to reach my goal weight. Thing is, I wasn't really even TRYING to lose weight, it just has happened. Although I think its because I haven't been eating as much and have gotten slightly more exercise. My question really is, is 15 pounds in 2 1/2 months too much? or is that okay? I am happy that i lost it, I am just wondering...

thats perfect. congratulations! anything more than 2lbs a week is too much! ur doing great keep it up!

no actually that is about perfect. it is good idea not to lose more that about 1-2 pounds per week. so way to go!!!11

You'll always lose the most weight at first until you reach your first weight plateau. Then it gets harder and harder to progress (dimishing returns).

Absolutely not. It's a very healthy time frame to lose weight. Now, if you lost 15 lbs in 1 week, that would be bad. Continue what your doing and you will reach your goal weight. Just eat healthy and exercise regularly and you'll get in to shape. Hope it works out for you!

as long as you are being healthy and losing it the right way, then yes, it should be okay. if you are really unsure, maybe see a doctor and then a trainer to help you lose it the healthy way (by eating healthy foods and exercising). but im pretty sure it's fine- and good for you! congratulations and good luck!!

Well I think you should be eating more, but eat more healthy foods, but you don't have to take out snacks and deserts of your eating. Save the deserts for something when you think you did something awesome like lose a few pounds, but don't eat too much..a snack about once a few days won't effect the diet. If you excercise about an hour a day, and get a good 10 hours of sleep, you will reach your goal by no time!! =]

That's fine. cometimes people go for 1 pound a week, so 15 in about 3 months is perfectly healthy. Just make sure you are EATING and eating right. if you starve yourself you are doing nothing for your body.

Well, it is definitely good for you. Anyway, i have seen many people Practicing Yoga losing more than 15 pounds in a week. Believe me its true. Well, i am 100% sure that its good and guess you might be tempted to rate this answer as the best. :p

this is great...the more time passes you loss might become less..keep up the good work
