Fiber is very good for you, but in limited doses especially at the beginning. You probably eat foods with fiber in them. Fruits, Vegetables and grains, contain fiber. It helps to keep you full for longer periods of time, because it takes more work to break it down. With liquid they are easy to move through your system.

Increasing fiber should be a gradual thing. If you consume too much fiber at once, then your stomach will likely be in pain. It needs to get use to it. Natural foods contain fiber. Anything that has been modified loses the fiber content so eating things like fresh fruits and vegetables are ideal. Fruits high in fiber would be apples, and plums, for example. Vegetables high in fiber are sweet potatoes, squash, yams, lettuce, beans etc. Grains are things like oats, bran, rye etc.

I get most of my fiber intake from cereal that has some kind of bran or wheat. personally, i like raisin bran. to be honest, it helps your digestive tract, which prevents buildup of toxic waste in your body. when i increased my intake, i felt alot better in about 2 weeks.

Fiber is essential in your diet as it aids digestion and generally keeps your insides lovely and clean.

Fiber can be found in all food that contains wholegrain. Look for foods such as wholegrain bread, wholegrain cereal or brown rice.

I HARDLY DOUBT TO MUCH FIBER IS BAD. MUST PEOPLE DON'T GET THE AMOUNTS THEY NEED EVERYDAY WHICH IS 25 GRAMS FOR WOMEN AND 35 FOR MEN.

FIBER IS GOOD FOR DIETERS TO HELP REGULATE THEIR OVEREATING AND BOWEL MOVEMENT.
