He could be trying to support you. If you told him you wanted to lose weight and he's not just asking on his own, then he's trying to keep you motivated. If he is asking and you never mentioned it, then I'd say froget him and move on to someone who will appreciate you.

Lose weight for yourself. Dont give a crap what the guy says. do it for yourself if YOU want to lose the weight.

you loose weight to satisfy yourself not someone else....and how you do and what method of exercise is no business of anyone else...and if he was just a little bit considerate he would drop the subject......if hour weight bothers him.....theres the door

Maybe because you told him that you want to lose weight, he wants to help keep you motivated and support you. If he's making you feel bad about yourself though, you need to let him know. Don't take any crap from anyone, do what you need to do to make YOURSELF happy.

I don't think you should worry about it much. If he keeps on mentioning it maybe hes not worth it. If hes only concerned about appearence thats not a really good friend. And everyone goes through that "am i fat" phase a lot. Its no biggie but if you really want to you could go to a gym or get involved in a sport or something that is fun and exercise but don't let it bring you down.

Do whatever makes you happy. In the end it's all about you and your weight, so try going to the gym with him. If he continues making you feel fat, state that he should stop saying that.
