How can i get Abs?!

Question: i am 120 pounds and 5'3. i have a small pooch on my lower stomach and want to get nice abs before bikini season. does anyone have a good way to do this BESIDES SIT UPS!! If you know of a good way then please say how long i need to it and how often. Those belts that look like wrestler champion belts that are supposed to work out your abs while you just sit there.... do they work???

Besides doing sit ups in front of the TV once in awhile, you could buy one of those excercize balls at Wal-mart for about 20 dollers and there is a sheet that comes with it that shows you alot of ab excercizes. Hope I helped!

no. everyone agrees i'm pretty sure that buff chicks are gross, just lose wait, dont gain muscle.

hip hop abs but u have to order it and it works

Eat smaller portions. Doing sit ups will only make the muscles bigger and if anything, make your stomach stick out more. However, doing them while you also do cardio can help. Cardio will burn fat a lot faster than sit ups.

And fyi, working out one body part won't make you lose weight in only that body part. Weight loss doesn't work like that.

it looks and sounds like it works.

No, the electro-shock belts are a complete load of bull.

The key to getting abs is to loose fat and gain muscle. Diet appropriately, (don't starve yourself, you'll just start to look skinny-fat), eat proteins, do cardio and yes, do sit-ups.

To work your lower abs lay on your back and raise your heels off the ground keeping your legs straight. If you find this easy add weight to your feet or just hold your heels about 6 inches above the ground as long as you can.

Repeat until you see abs.

those things work off the fat a lil bit.. but if you want abs then youll have to work for them
i got abs by doing situps... they work honestly

Unfortunatley it is situps it creates muscle there that eats fat yummy if u have the money lipo

If u hate situps thattt much u can also do long running

i know this great work out vid that let me loose 15-20 lbs! it's called turbo jam. i also did hip-hop abs. try doing sit-ups. it really works ur core

-eat 5-6 small meals per day, small meaning just enough to fill you up, not so you're bloated. just to soothe the hunger

-do cardio, around 30-40 minutes per day

-Do weights and resistance training. Try working legs one day, then upper body the next day, finish the workouts with abs. the reason why you finish with abs is because the body has used up the food and calories for the rest of the workout and will now use stored fat for energy to get you through the ab workout.

ab workouts could/should be 3x15 leg raises, 3x20 crunches, 2x10 jackknives.

i did routines like this for 3 months and went from pudgy gut to noticeable ab lines. i followed LL Cool J's Platinum Workout for the most part.

Walking, tighten your abs up when you walk can help you lose you little pooch.

ur gonna have to do cardio...run 30 min a day. and just do crunches or situps w/weights. or try ab lounge c if it rly works.

Oryx is on the right lines. Everybody has abdominals, its just the bodyfat (BF) levels that determine how defined they are. I suggest that you take up a light resistance and cardio routine. If you work out 3days a week, 30-45min cardio session included with each workout to burn fat, a light abdominal workout (eg. sit-ups to tighten the muscles around your mid-section) then you should lose that chub in a matter of a coupla months no problem :) Btw, the belts are nonsense!
