eat lots of vegetables a free food in the diet scale and mostly fish and chicken eat several small meals a day 6 to 8 and lay off all the sweets, pasta, breads, eat yogurt for breakfast I find Danon low carb works best. Next start exercising at least 15 minutes a day then increase it slowly over a period of weeks once you get your self into a regular habit of exercising an hour a day by that time you should have lost all your weight and more and be healthier. At that time you can pretty much eat reasonably anything you want and not worry about gaining any weight you just have to remember what ever calories you don't need you need to burn off.

Exercise more, eat less.

That's the big secret. Burn more than you take in.

stop eating

go to a gym

up the protein, lighten up on the starches

have salad with ur meal instead of lots of other crap

break meals from three and day to six small ones

drink lots of water and exercise

eat fish

try not eating any foods that have sugar. My daughter does this and she loses 1-2 pounds a week.

Get lots of exercise and that should not be a problem for a 17 year old. and eat fruits and veggies, limited meats, no dairy, no processed foods and no fast foods, and lots of water.

182.5cm is your height, thats about 70kg
Working out your BMI the formula is:
weight/height squared.
If the answer is under twenty to 16 weight is good over 21 is overweight work it out see what the answer is

ok first of all DONT stop eating......that is totally unhealty! Just eat healthy.........mi friend also lost ALOT of weight by stopping drinking soda......(and other UNHEALTHY fluids).......so eat healty.....exercise more and i garentee you will loose weight.......just DONT stop eating

hmm since the the top contributor answers mut doesnt seem much ok easy but long time just eat less junk food such as burgers, fries, chips etc.... and eat more veggies and excerise anywhere instead of sitting walk around or if u have stairs go up the stairs and come down and maybe make a food challenge if u dont like veggie (eating more veggie makes u like it.) and since u r at a good age u can now start using weights.....but if they r closed then run to the door and to end of the house

I stopped drinking anything with sugar in it. You'd be surprised how many calories we get in drinks. I also started doing 30 min of cardio everyday, but I really started to lose the weight after I found this website. I learned the right way to EAT and how to keep the weight off. I lost 5 pounds the first week and I wasn't hungry at all. Good Luck!

eat more and exercise more forget all that crap you heard about eating less exercise more by eating more and exercising more you turn all the things you ate into muscle if you eat less than your body will start burning less so the less you eat the fatter you get trust me i have six packs

given the reason you're asking this question you're in no way athletic because at you're age i weighed more than you and was the same height, but anyways what i would say is this...take some time after school and run for about 15-20 min, don't do anything crazy either you don't wanna kill yourself, but anyways, do that twice a week, so in the very least you'll stay somewhat "in-shape" so you won't worry about those extra pounds, and it's not like you'll be doing some type of extended workout either....food for thought....

I swim 5 times a week, each time about 1/2 an hour.

Don't get me wrong: Losing weight is not easy. You will never hear me say that it is. It takes dedication, motivation and hard work.

But there are some fairly simple changes that will greatly improve your chances of weight loss success. If you're serious about changing your lifestyle, these steps will get you there.

The key is to dedicate yourself to these changes and do them consistently.

No, losing weight isn't a walk in the park. But by following these steps ... you may find it's a little easier than you think!

CHANGE ONE: WHAT YOU EAT
First up, let's take a look at some simple ways to make significant improvements in our diets.

ELIMINATE RED MEAT
If foods like burgers are basic to your current diet, cutting out red meat can go a long way in helping you make healthier meal choices.
By building your meals around fish and poultry, you can more easily keep temptation at bay by eliminating many poor fast food and restaurant choices, which are over-sized and high in fat.

To keep your shellfish, fish, chicken, and turkey diet-friendly, be sure to choose the right preparation method (see #2).

Be wary of creamy, high-cal condiments that come with entrees, like tartar sauce or special sauce on grilled chicken sandwiches.

CUT OUT FRIED FOODS
Keep your healthier choices truly healthy by grilling, baking, roasting, broiling or boiling them.

Keep things interesting by adding fat-free condiments to your usual fare. A tangy barbecue sauce will give boiled chicken a kick. Lemon-herb dressing will complement broiled fish deliciously. People love saying salsa and, if you ask me, it makes just about anything taste even better.

Make sure your spice rack is always stocked with plenty of herbs and spices so you can doctor up your favorite dishes to your own taste without adding any additional fat or calories. Plant an herb garden and you'll never run out!

If you often eat fast food, forget that combos even exist; they seem like a better deal, but they're just not worth the extra calories! Stick to a grilled chicken sandwich and a side salad when you're on the run.

START WITH SOUP OR SALAD.
Having a salad or cup of soup for starters can be an at-home habit that pays off in pounds-lost. They can curb your hunger, prevent over-eating, and help you stay in control of portions.

Choose a broth or tomato-based soup like minestrone (rather than a cream- or milk-based choice). Vegetable soup made with broth, stock, or tomato soup is ideal, because the veggies will help fill you up and give you a fiber and nutrition boost.

Top your salad with low-cal dressing or balsamic vinegar. An added plus of having a salad before every meal is getting more fiber, something we all need plenty of. Be sure to include lots of veggies and dark mixed greens like spinach in your salads.

FINISH WITH FRUIT.
Instead of reaching for the cookie jar or helping yourself to dessert after meals, make a point to finish off with naturally-sweet fruit instead of sinfully-sweet treats.
Not only will you save fat and calories, you will also have the added benefit of extra vitamins, minerals and fiber. Few of us eat as much fruit as recommended.

In time, you will become accustomed to foregoing sweets and you'll look forward to your healthier treat just as much.

Drink alot of water to keep full.
Workout out 3-6 days a week something you enjoy like hiking, running, swiminng, dancing or even a brisk walk and take the stairs instead of elevator.

have patience takes time to get back to those jeans.

and have faith in yourself and pray when you are going to reach for food for comfort.

tricks-
Put the scale in the kitchen area so when you are about to eat just remember your GOAL.

Good luck

Drink alot of water. Exercise 30 mins a day before breakfast and sleep atleast 8-9 hours a day. You will see the weight just fly off.

Well the first tip, is avoid asking how to diet from other out of shape people. Because, obviously their method hasnt worked. (I am 5'4" and 110)

Also, you dont need to join a gym! Just go on a walk, play with your dog! During a commerical break while watching television, do a few situps! Run up and down the stairs. You dont need to throw big bucks to be in shape!

This is kindof silly, but when you eat food, put your food on a smaller plate. It makes you look like you have more! It really does help when I am feeling extra hungry.

Drink a lot more water, and less pop. Even 'Diet Pepsi' still isnt healthy. You can find little to-go juice packets if water doesnt sound good at the time.

I dont know how much I can stress this! NO FAST FOOD! When you are at McDonalds, and say you get A Burger, Large Fries, and A Diet Pepsi. And if you do, just try a burger with no mayonaise. Small fries (or maybe a yogurt parfait) and a small diet pepsi.
