Comfort eating?!


Question: I ma a full time carer for my husband as well as being a mummy to two children 6 &3. He needs 24/7 care and I don't get breaks. When things are bad I find myself binge eating in a way to stop the stress and pain of seeing my hubby be so ill. I have put on 5 stone in 3 years. Which has helped in making me quite low, of course the lower I am the more I eat! I know the basics, eat less, take more excerise.. I can't get much exercise as we are housebound for much of the day. How can I stop the cycle of binge eating?

Try drinking 2 glasses of water and 2 carrots when you feel stressed and wanting to binge eat. I am a binge eater also. I try to schedule my meals 3 hours apart to take my appetite away. Anther way to control the binge is to power bike ride for 15 to twenty minutes.

Nothing beats healthy eating.
Eat a combination of lean protein and healthy carbohydrates every few hours throughout the day to speed up fat loss and maintain stable energy levels. For best results, eat six times a day. Weight train intensely, three times per week on alternating days with aerobic exercise three times per week.

Eat your
Protein from (lean chicken, fish, egg-whites and beans)
Carbs from fruits and vegetables
Drink 10 to 20 glasses water per day NO SODA

whenever u want to eat when u're stressed..try 2 grab for fruits or any foods with low fats n calories..do remind urself,the more u eat,the more weight u gain n it wont make u happy.. spend ur weekend wisely.. at least jog for 30 mins early in the morning (u can try during weekend..)..u'll be feeling tired but after some times,it'll help u to be more energetic.

When you go shopping for food make sure you have eaten before you go. The buy food sensibly. Buy celery to nibble on and other healthy snacks.

Use your children.When you buy food,think healthy food.No biscuits,cakes and the like.Bread is my failing.So easy to put
something in for a sandwich.It is very fattening.If your caring for
your husband he wants to see and hear you happy.Not feel like
he's a burden.Easy for me to say i know,but it's what i would want.Can't you get help?Or are the bureaucrats being as useless as usual?Hope things improve for you.Best wishes.

If you are at home - start a diet. You will find time to buy products and to do just for you special meal. I know how can you fill lost between children and household duties. So - make the time of dieting something like special gift for you! Please yourself, do not take it as duty!
1. I can suggest you several diets which work. Select one of them - Winter (easy to follow), Japanese (works very well after stopping it - still burns fat), Colored - very effective for short time, but a little bit hard ;), Tibet's - very healthy on the basis of natural products.

2. After two weeks change the diet.
3. Exercises - walk, run, dance, swim, any motion which increase your heart rate.
