NY weight loss GOAL!!?!


Question: I am going to NY this summer and am currently not fit for walking that much! I "hope" to drop 50-60 pounds by then! I plan on doing a slim-fast remake! I like making the choc. shake with a banana and 6-8 icecuebs blended for a smoothie or 1/2cup any other fruit or 2tbs. peanutbutter. I really like the vanilla shake made with 100% OJ instead of milk and 6-8 icecubes. I will us these for breakfast and some lunches with lots of fruit and veggies for snacks. I really like soup so this will be the rest of lunches, or a reasonable substitute, and suppers will be a sensible healthy choice. I plan on starting my get up and moving schedule with a mile walk everyday, with my dog, and progressivley more as time goes on. Oh, and yes 6-8 cups water daily! What do ya all think?

Sounds like a plan. Have you heard of the Scarsdale Diet. I do it everytime I feel like I gained alot of weight.

Try exercising for 30 minutes everyday.
Not 8 cups of water, 8 GLASSES of water.
Eat the heaviest meal and anything sugary in the morning.
So you will have time to burn it off.

Eat a medium meal at lunch, and soemthing light for dinner.
Don't eat past 7pm. & make sure to exercise right AFTER you wake up. And in the evening. Never before bedd.
