Simple, high-protein fix?!


Question: I want to gain some weigth.

I an intense runner and I do loads of push-ups and sit ups.

I don't want to do drugs to get a bit buffer (I don't want to be Mr. Universe, just a bit buff).

I don't quite like cooking so I'm looking for some easy to cook, high protein meals.

Is there anything else I should look for besides protein when it comes to gaining muscle mass?

I do want to be Mr Universe. I put beans in a crock pot and let them cook all day. I also boil eggs for a quick protein source.
My typical meal is a piece of lean meat the size of my fist, around 1 cup beans salad mixed with 3 egg-whites raisins carrots and any other fresh fruit or vegetable.
Start lifting weights do not worry about bulking up concentrate on total body strength with emphasis on core strength. do alot of ab exercises to bring out your abs when your eating habits improve. You can bake fish, beef or chicken by just adding salt and pepper.

Just remember, Nothing beats healthy eating.
Eat a combination of lean protein and healthy carbohydrates every few hours throughout the day to speed up fat loss and maintain stable energy levels. For best results, eat six times a day. Weight train intensely, three times per week on alternating days with aerobic exercise three times per week.

Eat your
Protein from (lean chicken, fish, egg-whites and beans)
Carbs from fruits and vegetables
Drink 10 to 20 glasses water per day NO SODA
