Its natural your a preteen your body is gonna get bigger and your gonna get fatter or bigger if you like it or not, Just make sure your getting in the natural food groups, as you and your body get older your body needs more calories to burn so it can keep your body warm, and keep you going throughout the day, so its okay if your eating more in a way its saying your not getting enough Good Calories(calories that are harder and take longer to brake down) in your body and your getting in bad calories(calories that are easy to eat such as chips, cookies, etc.. and they breakdown faster) But DONT stop eating still eat everything and just try to get in all the food groups and it should be okay, but get used to it the body is growning and so are you and the body needs more nutrientes!

like you said your preteen, your body need nutrition to grow, just give it time, you'll lose those pounds in no time

cut down the food avoind places where u know there will be food and eat more healthy foods insteda of soda hace a diet soda or juice or tea

well how fat are you?
are you fat or are you anorexic?

walk 5 times a week around a track or run with your dog




you can do that 5 times a week and lose weigth w/o changing your eating habits

Controlling weight is hard for most people. watch your intake. exercise more.

if you're really curious

get your parents to set up an apointment with a nutritionalist

but some basics are
eat a HEALTHY breakfast....I dont care if you dont think you have enough time....you lonly need about 5 mins to cook, eat and brush your teeth
avoid ALL corbonated drinks...that means any diet drinks too

grab a heathy snake rather then junk and stay inshape exercising is key to everything

and im 14 when i get my period i tend to eat more and more and i also will gain about 5 lbs too so dont worry about it

You are still growing. Your body needs food. You need to eat and eating more probably means you're going through a growth spurt. Do not stop eating, don't do some fad diet. Eat healthy foods, exercise healthfully (don't over do it), eat a well balanced diet with all the nutrients you need.

there are many diefernt types of diets and one of them is where many girls starve themselves and i hurd many people die when they do dieting.
Try to have a balanced dies wich means eat the same amount as junckfood as the same amount on how you eat in the healthiar foods.
Do someexcersise.. and No not the bowflex stupid ones where youwaste more than $1000
RUn, walk jumping jacks, Gt a excersie vedio or a typo vedio and do it everyday for a good 20 mins.

Your a preteen, right? You're not getting fat, you're maturing. PRE-teen. PRE meaning you aren't even a teenager yet. By the time you really start maturing, you will notice you have gotten taller. When you are going through pubery, etc. many kids gain some weight. Not 100 lbs or anything, but yes, they gain weight even if they deny it. Even if it's just a pound. It's a way of life. I'm sure you aren't fat, but if you are REALLY, REALLY concerned, just eat more fruits and vegetables.

Your a preteen? You should talk to your parent(s) about
how you are feeling. If they don't seem concerned about it
maybe talk to your coach at school and just ask for helpful
healthy tips. You could start doing more outdoors things
like sports or just taking a walk around the block. Buy a
jump rope and do that a few times a day. Or a hoola hoop.

This depends on what you call "fat". I don't know what you look like, but I'm going to assume puberty has a lot to do with your weight gain. It is 100% normal! Please don't start thinking too hard about your body fat until you are actually clinically deemed overweight by a DOCTOR... not a boy, not your parents, not yourself. A doctor. I ended up with an eating disorder that I still struggle with because of this very thing. Here's one way to tell if you are gaining weight in an unhealthy way. If your stomach is literally hanging OVER your waist of your pants/belt... then you may have a problem. Also if you sit up strait in a chair and your stomach is lying on your lap... you may have a problem. Otherwise, don't worry about it! Just don't gorge yourself during meals and don't eat just because the food is there. Eat only when you're hungry. And remember to stay physically active (cheerleading, sports, bike riding, running, etc).

When u said everyday u seem to eat more, that is your answer. Change your meals, Get up eat a healthy breakfast, and don't over eat. Watch your choices, if its sweets or junk food, thats your problem. Focus on veggies and salads, and meat. Soda drinking is a problem to. Lots of sugar and calories in them. Get aa pience of paper and write down everything u eat for 1 day and the exercise. Look it over look how much non healthy food u are eating, then make a plan for yourself, change what goes in your mouth. If u stop eatin the junk that will help u in more ways they u can imagine. Do u know what diabetes is? So make this New yr a lfe time change for your self. And when u eat right others see what u are doing and will follow. Talk to your parents, I am sure they will want to help to. And get out and walk, or run, or skp or jump rope.

It depends more on your height and your age for determining if your fat. If you are a preteen and you think or are fat all you need to do is some walking. It doesn't have to be running or extreme exercising. Walking about 1-2 miles a day for the next few months should burn off lots of fat and keep them off as long as you are on a healthy diet. Don't anorexic diet because that makes you loose weight fast but it can make you gain twice as much weight just as fast because your body need nutrients so what happens when they don't get the nutrients? They tend to want more than they need. Make sure to not skip any meals, dinner is okay to skip if your lunch is big enough. But all in all it's your determination. How much do you want to loose weight.

don't let yourself get into a eating disorder. although flab and rolls are not attractive, (speaking as a 25 year old guy) all skin and bones is no better.

If you or your parents have the funds, you can get a scale that tells the % body fat you have, and its less than $40 at wal-mart.

keep in mind that as a preteen you will almost defiantly gain in height, so if you do not gain weight in proportion, you will become unhealthy

JUST START EXERCISING AND EAT BETTER AND IN MODERATION. IT'S WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR BODY NOT EVERYONE ELSE.
