Is it possible I might become underweight?!

Question: My doctor put me on a diet that started the 26th and I've already lost 10 pounds. The diet isn't to lose weight, but he told me I might lose a little. I'm going to be on it for a total of 2 weeks. I'm not allowed to stray off of the diet at all or it will be a big waste of time, money and energy. I'm 5'4" and 115 pounds now. If I lose10 more, would I be considered underweight? Do you think it's even a possibility that I will lose 10 more?

If thats the result of this diet so far, chances are you will continue to lose weight.

May I ask why you are on this diet and what it consists of?

[Edit]: Well, thats no good! I hope you feel better after all this is done, just keep in mind that if you do get under weight you can gain it back if you want to.

Just be careful, your BMI is 19.7 right now, which is normal, but if you lose another 10 pounds your BMI will be at 18, which is considered underweight.

I would report this loss to your doctor since 10 pounds in 3 days is a little extreme.
