Pretty much, yes. Just make sure it is a healthy 1200 calories, mainly protien and complex carbs (whole grains, fruit, veggies). Drink lots and lots of water, and make sure you are reaching and maintaining your target heartrate during that exercise - and you got it. You can add resistance training to even make it go faster and look better - toning your muscles will make you burn more calories - the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn (even while sitting still and sleeping).

As a female you should never eat less than 1600 calories in a day. It will stop your estrogen production and eventually your periods. You can eat whatever you want, just remember to balance a pasta out with a fruit and exercise at least 1 hour a week, youll lose more weight actually but watching your calorie in take from beverages, exercising and sleeping. Eating 1200 or less isn't healthy...the average human needs 2000 a day normally, not when working out. You need to eat more than that if you work out. Just eat lots of protein, carbs, and vegetables, and above all, get a schedule and stick to it. Whether it's 30 minutes a day or 2 hours every other day, a constant schedule will do you the most.

Yes it's that simple. Eat less and exercise more. Heck if you just cut out sacking you'll lose some weight. Eat home cooked low fat, low sugar meals. And take up jogging. it's that simple . But do what you like and it will work for you.

As long as u burn off more than u eat u will lose weight...dont eat too smaller amounts of calories or ur body will shut down and hold onto all fat stores.

go to a doctor. because if you eat less calories and exercise more you will lose weight, but remember ppl who workout alot sometimes have to consume alot of calories. sounds weird but it makes sense. think about it calories gives you energy, so less energy more activity you will get drained. like i said go to a doctor to guide you. also you dont want to eat too little then you may get tooo skinny. remember if you are starting out don't over exert yourself. i would try 30 mins for 3-4 days first.
