What are some good ways to feel better about yourself physically and mentally?!


Question: I have gained 20 pounds since may and at that time I wanted to lose 20 pounds so now I have 40 pounds to lose. I need some motivation and ways to feel better about my because i feel ugly and unloved and i can't look at my body in the mirror anymore. And yes I know to excercise but are there any tips to feel better about myself during the process??

Surround yourself with positive people and feed your brain with positive input.

We become like those we surround ourselves with, so get rid of, or avoid those Neggie Nellies. They're the people who have to rain on everyone elses parade, becuase they don't have one of their own.

Feed your brain with positive input. Check out books at your local library that are motivational.

And speaking of going to church the biggest motivational book I know is the Bible. Find the healing scriptures, because positive in, positive out.

well, u re right to feel ugly and unwanted. u will start feeling much better about yourself as soon as u start losing weight. have u started exercising? i bet not. otherwise u would feel better by now. so start exercising and i bet after each day when u exercised (not less than 1 hour) u would feel better about yourself, cos u re at least doing smth to improve yourself
