Is Deer meat high in fat?!

Question: I was told deer meat is high in fat.I hope not because I eat this meat with my salads.
I would think that this meat would be healthy because it is not going through the distributions of being injected with all the fats and stuff.

no on the contrary it is extremely low in fat and tastes very good

Deer meat is lean. The only exception is when it's made into sausage; fat is usually mixed in with the meat to make the sausage.
