My karate teacher says that all you need is 2x2 metres of space at home and your own body to do most exercise you need.

I can suggest a workout that you can do at home without any equipment. The only thing you need is joggers for jogging (barefoot for the other exercises), and for exercising your biceps you need to do some chin-ups somewhere.

1. Warm up with a jog. Start slow and short, then build up each time until you reach a limit based on how much time you have for your workout, e.g. 10 mins. Then gradually try and increase the distance you cover in that time. Warm ups are important to loosen you up to prevent injury.

2. Push ups for your arms and shoulders. Start with what's comfortable, even 1 push up the first time, then gradually build up each time until you reach a useful maximum for you (e.g. 30).

3. Squats for your legs. Again start with what's comfortable (e.g. 5) and gradually build up to 30 or so.

4. For your torso, the most important thing to exercise is your core. Lie face down, supported by your elbows and toes and keep your body straight like in push-ups. Hold your stomach tight and keep that position for 30sec. Gradually build up each time until you can do it for 2 min.

5. For your stomach surface muscles, you can do leg raises and sit ups.

6. You can later add other exercises like burpees, and lunges.

7. Dynamic stretching. Raise your leg forward keeping it straight (don't throw it, raise it as far as you can with control). Do it 5 times, each time trying to increase the height. Then do it to the side, then behind. Then repeat with the other leg.

8. Stretch your body. Twist gently to the left as far as you can go comfortably. Then to the right. Then tilt left and right. Then arch your back. Then interlock your fingers and reach as high as you can.

9. Finally cool down with some static stretching: hamstrings, calves, biceps, triceps, etc., etc.

Some tips:

* Don't overdo an exercise at first. If you experience pain around 24 hours later, you have to stop exercising the sore muscle for a couple of days until your body repairs it.

* Make sure you have water breaks during an extended work out. Don't let yourself get thirsty.

* Treat stretching as any exercise. Don't overdo it at first, then gradually build up. Stretch past your comfort zone but not to the point of pain.

Finally, have you tried your local library? You'd be surprised what you'll find in good old-fashioned books.

Hope this helps.

SWIM!!!!! trust me, it'll help in a lot of areas

if you have a street near you that's paved, roller blading first, and then core muscle strengthening exercises

you can do several wourkouts at home just doing situp lifts squats bends etc

You can do lots of different things at home it really depends on the amount of money you want to spend. I really like to use the workout videos by Billy Blanks (Tae Bo) they are real intense. Also walking really can help a lot. Good Luck!

At least 30 minutes a day, First walk briskly for a while, then stretch, then do jumping jacks which is cardiovascular, then stretch then do push ups, then ab exercises and finally walking and end by stretching. Depending on your age, always check with a doctor before beginning any exercises program. Don't forget to do mental aerobics too.. Best wishes.

I've found that spin classes are a good workout. I think the best workout to do at home is running but the trick is to have a running buddy who will encourage you to reach your goal. Ebay is a great place to start looking for exercise equipment.

if u do a lot of stretching, then it really helps to get ur body toned and in shape. look them up online. simple toe touches and arm streches do a lot. also gentle weight lifting can help to build attractive muscle mass. use 3lb barbells to tone and shape arms. u can buy gym equipment from almost any site. try looking for brand names, like wilson, voit, adidas, things like that. there should almost definitely be a site where u can buy their products.

The American College of Sports Medicine offers guidelines for cardiovascular, flexibility and resistance training. The guidelines are flexible enough to allow you to pick your own exercises but have enough structure to get you going when you first start out. They are pretty easy to follow and will make your workout easier and more efficient.

For highly effective exercises without needing equipment, get the book "The Naked Warrior" by Pavel Tsatsouline. Yes, that's actually the title of the book.

For sports and workout equipment, I'd just use my fave search engine.
