Is my weight normal?!


Question: I'm 13 years old, 4'59 (4 ft. 59 in.) and 149.5 pounds. I have a lean build though, just fat in my tummy and upper thighs. Is this normal for a 13 year old? I want to get to a weight normal for me. I don't look fat if you look at me, but when I sit down I do. What should I do to lose more weight? I already eat healthy. What is a good excersise plan for me? Its really cold outside. We have a treadmill.

There is no proven way to "spot" train. Cardiovascular exercise and weight traing will be your best bet to tone your entire body. I would start on your trad mill doing some run/walk intervals. start by walking for 5 min and running for 1 do this in intervals for about 20 min and slowly work your way up to running longer and walking less. Don't try and fad diets or pills because they do not work and are bad for you. The healthy way may take longer but it is better for you and will have lasting results.

what's your real height? that doesn't sound right...

edit: if you are really 4'59", then you are 107", which is equal to 8'11". It doesn't sound realistic.

edit: ok then, run on your treadmill.

4 ft. 59 in. would mean you were 9 feet tall...

Don't start doing squats, that will only make them bigger..ha
