My BMI is........?!


Question: 27.6. Varying on other websites. I know im overweight.
6ft 2", male, 215 pounds.

Although that i am overweight, is t classed as a healthy ish weight? Also will it be easy at this weight to get down to a healthy weight - according to the BMI chart?

BMI caculators online are so inaccurate only ignorant people use them... you might not be overweight...6'2" 215 and overweight?? There are guys the same hight and weght and have there bf 16% and under. If so that you are overweight and your 6'2" 215 you must be in pretty bad shape so start lifting...

you should be 25 or under to be in the "safe range" and yes if you eat well and exercise for 30 mins a day where you do huff and puff then yes you will drop easily into the safe range

You are Fat. Anyone with a BMI over 25 is Fat. Anyone with a BMI Over 30 is Obese.

27.6 isn't that high over the healthy BMI bracket (24.9-18.5) so it would be easy to lose weight to get into that bracket. but the BMI charts fail to take into account: body frame, bones, and muscles. get a body fat measurement to be more accurate.
