Good exercise for butt and thighs?!

Question: Anyone know any good ones?
Also, as a general rule, do people HAVE to break a sweat to lose weight or tone?

I'm 33 years old, 5'5" and 130 pounds. I want to get back down to 105 for the sake of my knees (I have Ehlers Danlos Disease) .
I am not an active person at all, and when I do move I like to take my time lol. BUT, I've reached the point where I want to do something NOW before my weight gets out of control (obesity runs heavily in my family- no pun intended).

I live off carbs, junk food and coca-cola and I realize all of that has to change as well.

Any tips?

Try out the thigh and butt routines here:

Thigh

Butt

Do these 2 exercises 3-4 times per week for 10-15 mins per session.

To shape these 2 areas into tighter forms, aside the above-said toning exercises, you need also to throw in a round of cardio (running, swimming, biking......) of at least 30 mins per session, 3-4 times per week, to work up your metabolism, to burn off excess body fat (that includes fat in your butts and thighs too.......).

Generally, if you aren't sweating, that means you aren't working as hard as you should be, hence it indicates that your intensity isn't as high as it should be.

However, it dosen't mean that "no sweat" means that you aren't burning fat and losing weight. This is because as long as you successfully kickstart your metabolism into higher gear, you'll be abel to burn fat and lose weight.

Anyway, for this to happen, you gotto do cardio exercise.

Yes, change your eating habit is another must in order to lose weight and maintain good health.

How to change?

Very simple.

Just cut down on intake of carbs, junk food and cokes as these're "killer" foods that make you fat and at the risk of having insulin resistance (where your cells don't accept any additional sugar, initiating further release of insulin from the pancreas, leading to even higher insulin levels. If blood sugar and fat aren't burned off, your body store them as fat).

The min you cut them down, you'll see the effect in action already.

Don't believe me? Try it!

this site has many easy & usefull exercises link to thighs & hips http://video.about.com/exercise/thigh-to... .........good luck!

The very best exercise to tone up your thighs and butt are SQUATS

Squats and lunges. There are a variety of ways of doing both, and all are effective since they were all the lower body inlcuding glutes!

1 doz donuts couldn't hurt if you wash them down with pure cream.

Just kidding, my sister.

This is what we did when I lived in Africa. It is an easy-to-do exercise routine, it keeps EVERYTHING toned, and it's FUN!!!

Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product (I only wanted something 100% natural). I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little "help" so I decided to try this great product and I had fantastic results. You can check their website at
http://www.no-stress-diet.us , they give you a free trial and you only pay $6.95 shipping and handling.

Taebo really works well for me when it comes to losing weight and inches. I also love to jog. However if your knees are bad I wouldn't recommend them. Try something low impact like pilates. And of course - cut out that junk food!

Like anything else worth having it will take hard work and dedication. I'm sure you'll succeed!
