Is it normal to have cellulite when u are 17 yrs old? I'm only five pounds o!

Question: Cellulite isn't caused by weight, it's caused by a genetic predisposition for the way your fat is distributed about your body. I had cellulite at 16 when I was underweight. It's unfortunately just something that some people get and some don't, and very normal.

drink more water

Cellulite can happen to skinny girls or fat girls, girls of any age

Yea, drink more water and get more exercise.

i dont know if its normal, i guess it is but you should start doing some leg exercises to help minimize it. but i know skinny girls that have cellulite so the best thing you can do is tone up your legs.

I'd imagine what you think is "cellulite" probably isn't.....especially at 17....but I agree drink water and moisturize.....or at 25 you'll be a basket case....

Cellulite is an incredibly common condition. If you have cellulite, you're in good company. - as many as 95% of women have cellulite. It is more common in aging women, although in some cases, girls as early as fourteen start to develop cellulite.

this made me feel better: 90% of women on earth have cellulite. Even the realllly gross skinny girls in hollywood have it. Omg and that is NOT a pretty sight. I'd wrather be a bit heavey with cellulite than nasty skinny with it. You're fine. Drink lots of water, PURE cran juice, and get some detox pads for your feet (they sell em on tv. koniki or something) =)

ya, it's normal, you can get it just buy growing taller and stuff, everyone has it though!!

im 13 adn i have a bit of celulite.

this is interesting i also have some cellulite and im only 18 and am directly in the middle for healthy weight, it bugs me a little.
-btw i am a man, so i think it's pretty common with us too. i don't think most men will mind much as long as you aren't really fat.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not tied to weight. Even some very skinny people have cellulite. It's more common as you get older, but you can be young and have it too.

It's caused from connective tissues becoming hardened and shorter, thus creating a puckered effect. Frequent massage of the area can help (like the endermologie treatments) and aerobic exercise at least 3-4 times a week (increases circulation). Also, if you build muscle in those areas, the muscle can make it look smoother.

Don't waste money on creams-- they don't work. If it's any consolation, most all women have SOME cellulite. Those models you see in magazines are airbrushed.

yes just some people have the genetics for it. so like exorcise a good bit and if you massage the area for five minutes all the time in circuar motioons it will eventually clear up. but it can come back. its not necessarily a sign of fatness, just where fat is. its where the fat cells are like blown up funny like, reminds me of popcorn, hense the strange look. =)
