Question: I'm 14 and I really want to loose some weight by the summer so that I can wear a desecent bathing suit. What should I do? What's the best way to loose weight the fastest? I have about 5 months.

Really try to watch what you eat. That does not mean to starve yourself, just try to eat healthier. Before you eat something, look at the labels.
Good foods:
Salads and greens (dressings are very high in fat)
Sweet potatoes are probably the healthiest foods
Whole grain cereal
If you get hungry, eat a healthy snack such as a sandwich with wheat bread
If you get thirsty drink water, milk

Bad stuff:
Dressings
Fried foods
Chips
Soda
Dont drink juice a lot because it has sugars which turns to fat


Exercising is extremely important

Start out by going for a walk every day. Have an ipod with you or a friend to talk to. Bring a dog. With a friend you can have fun exercise contests.
Carbohydrates are good to eat before exercisig because they give you energy. But if you dont use them, they will turn to fat.

and if by "quick" you mean losing more than 2 pounds a week, then you're going about it all wrong, b/c that's dangerous.
if you excercise, eat healthy food, and consume less calories than you burn, you should end up losing 1 to 2 pounds a week until you reach your goal weight, which is the healthy way of doing it.

of course, don't go overboard on the excercise or on the food, and don't get paranoid and stress over calories too much, because that's just as bad.

take it from someone (me) who used to be obese. yeah.

Forget about diets, if your thinking about that.

Portion Control & Fitness Is The Way To Go.

Get little plastic zip-locs, and fill them with about a half-cup of the healthyish snacks that you like.
then, everyday, run or do some kind of exercise.
