Am I too fat?!


Question: I 'm a 12 year old boy and I am 160 pounds. I don't show it that much, and I definitely know how to make myself look thinner. My New Year's Resolution is to go on a diet and lose 20 pounds, no matter how long it takes, so I will be thinner, but I am very self conscious about my weight. Am I too fat?

it seems like alot but actually considering how tall you are it isnt.
according to a body mass index for an ADULT (note)
you are slightly overweight (but only very slightly)
and if you lost anything from 10-30 pounds you'd have a healthy weight according to that
but it isnt accurate cause you are young

it depends on your height. enter your height,weight, and age into a bmi calc (google it) and it will tell you if you are overweight.

it maters how tall u are and im trying to lose wieght to and it takeing forever so if u sick to it and jog alot it'll well go by faster

It depends on how tall you are. if you are 6 feet tall thats fine if you 5'3" thats scary.

well it certainly depends on ur height if you were around 5 ft. 3 or even 5 ft 5 you would need to lose some weight...but if it's mostly muscle i am sure ur fine. If you want to lose a little weight just do it in a healthy way and just be happy.

im 13 5'6 bodybuilder i eat alot of protein and im only 124, dammmmmm

wow im like the same as you im 13 years old 5 foot 7 150 pounds i think you should run everyday or walk everyday for 30 minutes and do that for like 4 times a week and you should see results, but don't eat fatty foods while your on this diet or the pounds will gain good luck

You are about 20 lbs overweight and you seem to be aware of it.
