I'm 12, 5'4, and I weigh 165 lbs. Am I fat?!

You are a little over weight. I wouldnt say you are fat, but you should be about 130 pounds. I am the same height, but i am 127 pounds and i am 14. I exorcise a lot because i tend to gain weight easily. You shouldnt worry because you are 12, you will be able to lose the weight quickly.

No fat at all if you want to lose alittle weight try walking more and doing some extra excerise. Swimming is a great one.

If you are really worried go and see a GP. It's a bit hard to say without seeing you to be honest. I would worry more about your general fitness and health.

Sorry to say, you are overweight. But not fat.
Don't let people get to you! No matter what anyone says you're still your own person. Weight shouldn't take over your life. It sure did mine. I'm 13, 5'6 and 145 lbs.
Which NOW is in the range. Before, I was about 10 pounds overweight or something like that.

Im 5"8, a 16 year old guy and weigh about 8 stone and a half-9stone (depends on if i do muscle exercises and bulk up) and im quite skinny. So maybe if you lost a couple of pounds but no too much as you most certainly are not fat and you don't want to be one of these stick girls.

Maybe, but don't fret. At twelve just be active, steer clear of tv and video games. Your body is still developing and will change.

at 12 you need to weigh around 120 for your heigth. so yep you do need to try to lose it darlin!! swimming is great. try walking to. stay away from the good ole junk food and eat fruits, veggies and plenty of water!! eat sensible and you will lose it in no time at all. your very young so get going on some excercise and healthy eating and see how quick it will drop off!!!

i don't know, i am 12 years old, 5' 4" and i weigh 89 pounds! i'm not anorexic or anthing, but i'm a vegitarian and i'm really into sports, and i have a super speed metabolism. I would say you should maybe be a little lighter, but don't stress out about it! as long as it's not causing problems (health or social) i wouldn't be super worried!

No, you are not fat!!! Please don't get all hung up on body issues, You're young and going through a big transition. Remember, the chicks on magazine covers are skelatal and pretty unnatractive without their make-up artist, hair stylist, and the person who airbrushes the look of being alive onto the photos. Just be happy.
