How much do you have to weigh to get a tummy tuck and how much does it cost?!

Question: Abdominoplasty, or a tummy tuck, is pretty expensive. It's starts somewhere around $8000...although this can vary considerable depending on where you are. You don't have to be overweight to get one...a lot of women that get them do so because of what pregnancy did to their stomach/from losing a lot of weight. I'm not sure if there is actually a set minimum or maximum weight for surgery candidates.

I really want it done and I've done some research into it, but it's kind of scary. It's a major surgery and leaves a scar from one hip to the other.

If you are going to do it, make sure to do a lot of research first and find the best (not cheapest) board certified doctor.

Good luck!

Depends on the cosmetic surgeon and how much work you need done but I believe it cost between $5,000-8,000 and you have to be within 30% of your ideal body weight. Go in for a consultation and research the doctor very well.
