Am i unhealthy?!

Question: i don't feel like i'm unhealthy, but my doctors seem to think i am, which i don't understand.

okay, so here i go.

i'm 5'5" and weight 155 lbs, but I think a lot of its muscle

i swim everyday for 2-3 hours (weekends included) for my swim team and play tennis 2-3 times a week (usually about 5 hours) and play tournaments competitively during the swimming off season.

i eat very healthy... i usually have some junk food, but not in excess. i don't drink soda or anything... my usual meals are:
breakfast-cereal or 1/2 bagel
lunch-peanut butter sandwich, crackers, fruit
snack(before and after swimming)-chewy bars (one each time)
dinner-a normal dinner, like chili or spaghetti, with milk
desert-one scoop ice cream, a cookie, something along those lines.

i also drink tons of water... like 5-10 water bottles a day.

from what i can see, your height is excellently proportionate to your weight. your diet and exercise seems excellent. the only reason i can see why your doctor thinks your unhealthy may be due to your genetics. ask your family members if there is a history of heart problems or anything else. it just may be your genetics thats whats making the doctor think your unhealthy.

ur doc is an idoiot dont listen to him ur doing just right if ur happy with urself

Wow. I'm not sure of the exact calorie or nutrient content of what you typically eat in a day, but from what I can tell you eat an excellent diet.
Muscle weighs a lot more than fat, as I'm sure you know, so I wouldn't listen to the doctor. If you eat well (and it sure sounds like you do!) and get that amount of exercise, you're in great shape.

I'm 5'1" and when I weighed 109 pounds, my doctor told me she was concerned and wanted me back at 102 pounds. Ironically, I was seeing her for the residual effects of an eating disorder.
Doctors aren't always right.

You sound healthy and normal to me, but only your doctor can really tell you if your healthy

unhealthy isn't always referring to physical health.

Your great! Your doctor is probably just judging by your weight without even realizing that there's quite a bit of muscle. Does s/he know your daily routines? If he did he would know you are in great shape! You have an excellent exercise routine and your diet is just fine! Ignore him or her! Keep up the great work and have a wonderful new year! :)
