How can you do 250 situps?!


Question: I've heard a lot of people who say to do 250 situps twice a day. I find that to be impossible, at least for me; once I do 30 situps, I need to take at least a minute break before doing more. Do you mean 250 situps in a row? I'm just wondering how I should be doing it. Thanks!

You will need to build up to that count. First try doing 4 sets of 25. You can do this within an hour. If you're not sore then go for more. After a couple of weeks, you should be able to do 50-100 per sets which you can do a couple of times a day. It is not necessary to do that many situps in a row to get great abs.

They are in much better shape than you are. It is not impossible.

These people have taken months to build up to this level. If you are at 30 sit ups in a row, you are off to a good start. Each day, add maybe 5 more. Increase gradually or you will be so sore, you can't do any. 250 at a time has probably taken them months to get there. As your abdomen gets stronger, you will be able to do more sit ups with less fatigue. Just don't push too hard to fast.

Try doing 5 each time for 25 times during the day.

thats my goal for next year is 250 situps. Right now I am at 100.
