Good, Relatively Quick Exercise Routine?!

Question: I currently do sit ups, push ups, lunges and crunches, about 10-15 at time, two to three times a day. Is this a good exercise routine?

I'm trying to lose a bit of fat, particularly in the upper thighs and abs, and build some good muscle.

Those exercises build muscle. They don't burn fat. You need to watch what you eat and on top of your current workout, (which should be optional, if you want to be toned), add some cardio. Cardio, (running, walking, using an elliptical) is what will help you burn fat. Try to spend 30 minutes a day doing some type of cardio. Go for a jog. Anything to get you up on your feet and sweating. Swimming is also a GREAT full body workout. Best of luck! Have a great, happy, healthy new year! :)

Do a lot of walking

to lose fat, you need to be doing alot of cardio. try running around the block. the things you are doing now will only tone your muscles (which is a good thing, don't get me wrong). but if you are looking to actually lose fat as well, you need to be running or swimming, to burn that fat away.
