Push ups and Pull ups?!

Question: If you were to do a push up, how much percentage of your weight would you be benching? Same with pull ups.

Answers: If you were to do a push up, how much percentage of your weight would you be benching? Same with pull ups.

Pullups are all your body weight. A regular Pushup is 60% of your body weight. And declined pushups (where your legs are on a bench or something) is 80% of your body weight.

You can't compare the two. I can do 70-80 pushups without stopping but I can only get my body weight on bench by 12.

And I can get around 20 pull ups, so it's actually harder than getting your body weight on bench; for me anyway.

pull up....all of your weight

Push ups....varies with where your feet are
if you're doing handstand pushups.....100%
not sure on regular push ups
