My weight always goes to my thighs HELP!?!


Question: Hi, whenever I put on weight it always goes straight to my thighs, and whenever I lose weight it never seems to come off of my thighs! Can anybody recommend any exercises for losing weight specifically from your thighs? thanks

My heart goes out to anyone struggling to lose weight. There are a lot of people on here to try and help ( now i feel like Lassie )I replied to this other girls question, then I found a similar one 2 minutes later, so to save my fingers I've copy/pasted this!

Well in answer to your question; I can only tell you of my experience. I was a size 14 last year. I wanted to lose or accelerate weight loss, and so I tried pills and starvation plus a few diet plans. Because all of a sudden you control your eating, I lost a few pounds initially, but it always came back in the end lol

My sister went to this website which offers a choice of diet plans. At first I was naturally skeptical but in the end I had a try. I liked the website because it was honest advice and there wasn't any of that sale driven "c'mon, you'll be as thin as a twig next week" baloney. Anyway, cut a long story short, I'm a size 8- OK I lost an average 2-3 pounds a week which isn't as much as what other plans claim, but I could never get to a size 12 before and that was with exercise too! I am encouraged to eat out and even have chocolate lol+i don't go hungry ever.

Thats a really tough part to get rid of the weight there. umm u could try cycling a lot,running(do it at least 5 times a week you can take the two days off you have to keep constant though and dont do short distance there wont be any affect then.) Oh do not walk fast it will only build leg muscles but if u want then go ahead. You have to watch one yer diet too. umm.. try swimming too it strecthes it i guess. hope i helped.

Well... guess it in your genes. Normally women get fat into their thighs.

There is no exercise to lose fat in a specific part of the body. You can do a million squats but as long as the fats are sitting on top of the muscles, it's not gonna show.

If someone says that is possible, ask them to show me a fat guy with a six pack abs. I dare them. ^_^

The solution is you need to eat healthy (more protein and more fiber, less carbs and less sugar) and work out. you can swim if you like or go jogging.

I would not suggest a diet since people who go for crash diets end up gaining more fat AFTER they stopped their diet. Just choose good foods in reasonable quantities.
