What's all this about?!!?!


Question: Over the holidays, I'm pretty sure I gained some weight (as everyone does). But I think I only gained a pound or two. Anyway, about 3 or 4 days ago,I started drinking a lot of water. About 64 oz. I normally only drink about 8 oz (which isn't good). I weighed myself yesterday and it was 128. Then I weighed myself today, and it was 130. I didn't eat all that badly yesterday. And I didn't stuff myself at all. I got hungry (my stomach was growling really badly), and I had a high fiber cereal. Do you think this sudden weight change was from water or actual weight gain?? If it's water, how do I get rid of it??

it's water.... but don't starve u'rself either.

Continue to eat throughout the day... but THINK healthy!

The water will adjust then flush everything out. Water is good ... All these answers r good answers.

It could b water... it could b the time of day u weigh ur self.... clothes on or clothes off...

I know when I was doing weigh loss... I would weigh myself lst thing in the morn. Now I tried an experiement to c how much I weighed throughout the day... it was by mid to late afternoon is when my weight would go back up. then usually my weight went back down by the next morn to the same wt. or less. I've learned u'r body fluxes.... if u have food w/ salt... wt. could go up... salt retains water. Eat more fiber during the day, green carbs, veggies, fruit & don't forget the meat. Stay away from too mch carbs like potatoes or rice. LEAN meat will help in losing as well.

Water weight, don't worry about it.

I would say it was from water but don't be so quick to get rid of it. Your body is just getting used to the amount of water you're feeding it. That much water is healthy so don't change it too much.

your weight naturally fluctuates up to 5 pounds in one day!

make sure you weigh your self at the same time everyday wearing about the same thing to get the most accurate results!

water just wait it out it will go soon.. eithwer that or are you due on soon because that could also be it!!

its probably water you dont necessarily want to get rid of the water unless you feel bloated...your body will balance itself out through sweat and urination. keep eating right and exercising

I'm pretty sure its just water. All you have to do is drink more water. Sounds weird, but the water will flush excess water out of your system, and it'll also flush out the other things worse than water.
So don't worry!

Its water weight. Funny you should say that i have been drinking a lot of water recently and i have gained half a stone. Nothing to worry about, makes you healthier!
