2000.. You're in for one rough time if you're going to do that alone to lose weight. I would recommend trying that and weight lifting, jogging, running, short sprints, and also, do you know how to/want to play a sport? That can really help. Tennis, swimming, etc. Good luck, also, make sure to cut back on fatty things, and look into nutruitional information to find out what kind of meals you should be eating.

P.S. Don't give up, and never resort to starving yourself.

you're going to have to do a hell of a lot more than jumping jacks to lose weight. eat 5-6 small meals per day to speed up the metabolism and start some resistance training and weight lifting.

a billion. no i really dont know but a lot. it would actually be easier to do another type of exercise.

i'd literally go with 500

You need a good selection of exercises. What the body is good at is adapting. So, if you were to do the same exercises for a long time, you're body will learn to do them easier, more energy efficient, therefore using less energy.

star jumps are useless. you should go jogging instead.
