Lots of men have started doing aerobics because of the benefits of the excercise you get with the workout. For alot of years it was considered a "womans" workout, but aerobics are one of the few exercise programs that helps tone your entire body in just a couple of months. You should try and buy some home workout DVD's with just basic workouts. I read on webMD that the normal meal a person should consume would make your plate with food on it weigh about 1.5 lbs on a scale. Also the kind of food that should be on that plate should be leafy greens like salad, uncooked spinach leaves and things like that. Also, eat lots of fruits, stay away from things like white breads and try to stick to whole grain breads and whole grain pasta noodles. Get yourself a food groups chart and with every meal make sure you get a little of each to keep your meals well balanced. (it'll also help keep your motabolism balanced) Within about a month or so on this sort of plan you'll start to show results. There is no fast easy way to get in shape, it won't happen in a couple of weeks but if you stick with it and give it some time you'll be looking good in no time. :)

hi joe, i recomend you run 5 miles 8 times a week

gettin tired easily- take a walk every day
arm muscles- lift heavy stuff
gettin BUFF- your on your own

freakin get off your butt, do some push-ups and get over it!!!

Well, getting to the gym would be a big step. And as far as food goes, you just need to eat HEALTHY. Forget the junk food. Eat lean meats and a LOT of veggies. Hope this helps!

lol i feel the same!
im average too, but everydayyy im always
saying: im tired im tired
maybe sleep earlier and eat less fried foodoily food, chocolate,
and junk food, eat more veggies/eggs/drink milk
you know? and try to do situps/ play basketball
jog...HAHA i should do that
well , goodluck (:
hope this helped

Eat lots of carbodyhydrates - potatoes, pasta, bread, for every meal. And, run 1-2 miles every other day, practice doing chin-ups for upper body strength and if that is too hard just do sit-ups while watching tv or just go to the gym.

wat u gotta do is no more junk food eat fruits & vegatables take a long jog drink vitium water do crunches on the floor 4-5 times a week it worked 4 me =]

Cut out all high fructose corn syrup in your foods. It holds bad sugars and turns into fat. Good places to shop for foods that will help you shed pounds/keep the weight you have is Whole Foods, Sprouts, or A.J's. Eat fruits 20 minutes before you have a meal (Helps digest it better). Don't eat carbs and protein together, keep your veggies separate from carbs as well. Try to cut out ALL caffeine, you can lose up to 10 lbs by doing this alone! This is all apart of Suzzane summer's diet.

As to the workout, try to work out 5 days a week, don't lift arm weights everyday (give your self a day to let your muscles break down again, then rebuild them up the next day... and so fourth). Don't lift as large of weights, and do many repititions so you won't become over muscular.

Good luck!

Hey, I had a new years resolution like yours a year ago. In the experience that I've had, i would say that working out at a gym. I used to go to a gym once a week and i noticed a big difference in my muscles even though i wasn't buff. If you can't go to a gym, then go buy yourself a set of dumbells. They're cheap, and if you just do some basic exercises with them 20-30 minutes a day, you'll find a really big difference after like several weeks.
