I would love to know too, but here are some tips I try to utalise when attempting a fast.
-When things are hot, they fill you up faster (like hot chocolate (try the diest and/or sugarfree variety - its only 25 calories!)
-Drinking apple juice has 5 times more calories and 12 times more sugar than just eating an apple. You may feel less guilty for drinking something, but really its worse for you.
-Squeezing lemon into cold drinks tricks your body into thinking the drink is more filling (to kill chocolate cravings, do this to water & add a splash of vinegar, sounds gross but its works)
-It sounds gross, but if you chug water, than it creates a fuller sensation in your stomach

Drink lots of water. Drink so that you have to always go to the bathroom. That way you will never be hungry. The water will keep you full.

sleep...no just make a plan drink your juices and know that you are giving your tummy a rest and that is good for you

Coffee always stems my hunger for some reason.

Why do you want to do that then? If you're gonna do it then you need to drink lots of water throughout the day.

Unless there is some medical reason why you mustn't eat anything then don' t do it.

By the way, plain water is digested very quickly, you will have to keep drinking it as it is out of the stomach very fast. Try adding some sugar free stuff to it if you must starve yourself.

I have done 48 hours only to pig out once I am allowed to eat again. I personally don't believe fasting does a body good unless it is for religious reasons.

Total fasting shouldn't be done particularly in warm or hot weather or if you are doing heavy work. At least allow yourself water.

Is this fasting for a quick start to dieting? You will probably only lose water weight, not fat. Sticking to a fast or even any diet is a matter of mind over matter--either you are committed to doing it or you are not. Simple as that. So it is up to you but let the others in your household know what you are doing so they don't pester you with food or hound you to eat.

ok...as am a muslim we fast for a month each year...(eat before sunrise..and the break your fast just before sunset)

how i cope is either

eat carbohydrate just before sunrise....then obviosuly dont eat who however long you cant...

if thats hard
stay in bed all day..so you dont have to go in kitchen etc...

or go do bit shopping

dont watch any cooking channels etc..

make sure you drink wateer
