Is it normal to not have a six pack?!

Not everyone has a six pack and I'd be willing to say that the majority of people don't. If you want one it will take some work but it isn't impossible.


To show off your abs, you need to burn off the layer of fat that is covering them. To do this you need to go on a calorie restricted diet and do a lot of exercise including cardio and sit ups. The layer of fat will not go away by simply doing sit ups and crunches. If you already have a low body fat percentage than doing situps and crunches will help you. Don't go crazy with them. A lot of people go to the gym and fo hundreds of situps and crunches every day. They treat their abs differently from every other muscle in the body. Treat them the same as you would any other muscle and you will see improvements.

im not a guy but its not strange to not have a six pack its normal, but a six pack is always a plus lol, most of the guys in my grade dont have a six pack only like 40 or 50 of them do

yes it is very normal. Most people who don't have them don't flaunt them, that's why it seems as if the rest of the world has them.

It is very normal for this to happen to people. Some people do not have the genetics to produce this effect. There is a layer of fat that 99% of us have that lines this area of the ab wall. It is very hard for some people to isolate this area and get the effect you want. The only advice I can give you , is to keep trying. Keep doing the crunches. If you belong to a gym, seek out a fitness instructor or personal trainer and have them help you with this. Low fat, high protein diet, rich in veggies is always good.
Most people I see, tell me they do hundreds of crunches, but they do them the same way every day. You need to change up your routine a bit, so the stomach muscles don't get used to the same stuff. If your using a traditional ab machine, try to do them on the floor, if this hurts your back, then do leg raises. There are many many ways to get there...but pursistance is the key here.

Nah, alot of people dont have them, but if u WANT one.....hit the gym.

Everybody has a six pack ( abs) muscle structure. But its hard to see if its not built up. Or your body fat % is too high.
