I've been overweight all my life. My mom was a Registered Nurse and we tried everything. The only program that ever worked for me was Weight Watchers. The Point program is great! You can eat anything you want as long as you count it in your points for the day. I'm a Coca-Cola-aholic and use 3 points a day for my can of Coke. It keeps me from feeling deprived. WW has a promotion right now that you can join without paying the registration fee. I think you can come to your first meeting for free as a guest, also. Try it, you'll like it. There are tons of websites with recipes, point guides for restaurants/fast food, etc. You'll quickly get so good you'll be able to calculate the points for anything in your head. GOOD LUCK!

the food guide it is a healthy lifestyle not a diet follow this along with 30-60 mins of cardio a day and aeobics or strengh training 2-4 days a week

You could pick up the book The Body Ecology Diet.
or drink lots of water and eat whole foods, but only if you're actually hungry, and get some form of exercise, even if it's just walking a mile every other day.
Or you could try raw foodism.

Just try to find something that focuses on health and not calories. Calorie and carb counting create quick results that don't last, and the yo-yo effect is worse for you health than being overweight. Knowing and understanding what you put in your body and the effect it has is so much more effective and useful than limiting your intake based on caloric content.

I am with you! i am equally over weight and for years i have done so much research i know everything about losing weight from A-Z! first, you need to keep up the inspiration so you dont lose to temptation. for example, you can keep a pair of your old pair of size 10 jeans to let you see how far youve come! your diet plan is also very importantant. you should know that if you diet for a limited time like only a month you will lose weight but will gain it all back and probably even more once you go back to youre old eating habits. best bet is to live a halthy living style that you can stick to. you should always balance your plate. for example, you can make your plate one part grains, one part meat, and one part vegetables!
or you can make it one part grauins, one part dairy, and one part fruit! for excersizing, you need to do cardio workouts (excersize that gets your heart pumping) and strength training (excersize that make your muscles stronger) start off with 2 hours of cardio a week and 1 and a half hours of strenght training a week. remember your portions. never take too big a meal. junk food is a waste, but you can treat your self with a smalle portion twice a week so you wont miss junk food. you can also reward your self. if you keep up with your plan for a whole week, treat your self to the spa. but thats ONLY if u keep up with ur plan, so u'll want to do good. also its important to keep a food journall. that way u'll kno what u r eating and will be able to control ur self more!

Dieting is not the answer. The weight just comes back and dieting deprives you of nutrients. Nutritional cleansing leads to lasting results and good health. There is a 100% moneyback guarantee. To see a video on nutritional cleansing, go to: http://www.grangermd.isagenix.com and click on "isavideos" and success stories on the top left hand corner.
