i know you've heard this over and over, but sweetie you have to eat...PERIOD. eat 6 small meals a day: 3 meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and 3 snacks (morning, mid-day, evening). trust me. eat sensibly, and you will kick your metabolism into high gear. drink plenty of water thoughout the day. try to eat something every 3-4 hours. my view on chewing gum is that i really makes me hungry.

Drink water or flavored water. Drink if slowly, like 20 oz in a hour or more.

That way you will not be hungry.

Have at least 60 oz or more daily.

Go grab a peice of fruit.

If you don't have any fruit, grab a cup of yogurt.

And if you don't have any yogurt, (xD) make yourself a small salad with lots of veggies and only about 2-3 tablespoons of dressing.

Since I've never been on a diet, it's a foreign concept to me. However, I have this habit of eating when I'm hungry. However, I eat whole, real foods in moderation. Unfortunately, I don't exercise. However, since the birth of my daughter three (almost four) months ago, I've lost about 20 pounds. Breastfeeding suppsedly burns 300-500 calories a day. However, I've also read that a mother needs that many more calories while breastfeeding. Therefore, I've concluded that the extra calories go to my daughter.

I will not diet. "Diet," in the pop culture sense of the word just seems to be a form of self abuse in addition to boring, with all of the self-restrictions. Where's the fun?

Eat a dozen donuts.
