How can I lose weight by dancing?!

You can lose weight by dancing as long as everything else remains constant. Losing weight is simply either taking in less calories or spending more calories. So if you eat the same amount of calories (keep in mind some exercise can rev up the appetite), and you add dancing as a form of exercise or spending some calories, then you should be on track. I can't remember exactly how many, but I think you'll have to spend about 3000 calories to lose one pound of weight. The more rigorous the dancing, the longer in duration, the more calories you'll use up and the quicker you'll lose weight. Good luck and have fun!

dancing should work. as long as your up and moving around a bunch you'll burn calories

Dance for 2 hours and make sure you drink a half gallon of spring water a day.

Dancing will help you lose weight because it is a cardiovascular activity - it will definitely burn off the calories and fat. But make sure you do it at an intense level for at least longer than 20 minutes - because for every minute after 20 minutes your body will be in the fat burning zone.

sure.. That is my favorite way of doing so..
I didn't realize I was doing so.. this was a couple of years ago..
I belonged to a group..and we had a dance every w'end.. and I could tell I was..
go join the neighborhood recreation center.. they should have them or Ur local VFW, or Moose Lodge..
