As far as speeding up your metabolism goes, I don't think any food is going to help as much as daily exercise. Now then, the more you cut out refined products, meat, and dairy, and the more you introduce a wide variety of raw fruits and vegetables, the more energy you will have to do those exercises. Then, as your metabolism increases, you will start losing weight... pretty fast, I might add. Add a little green tea in the morning to help burn that fat, and you're all set.
