You are not overweight, but if you are desperate to lose a few pounds here's a couple tips

-Stay away from white bread and rice cakes- Although they say rice cakes are good for weight they are not. this is because these foods tell your body to store calories as fat instead of burning them

- Trick yourself when you eat. For example, say you have a plate of spagetti and half way through, you know that your are going to want another serving, well go fill your plate whn it is already half full. One reason why many people are overweight is because our access to food is abundnat and we evolved to shove anything edible in our mouths for fear that we may not see anything like it for a while.

-Yeah, exercise is good too, running is the most efficient type, also do exercises that use your own body weight as the weight, this encourages leanness.

- Avoid sugar, this turns into calories and fat

-Look on the ingrediants of your food. Something you should stay away from that you may not reconise normally is modified corn starch. This is a starch that has been artificially downgraded to its simplest form. When your body processes this, it turns it into more fat and sugar than its origional weight. (ex 30 grams of modified corn starch tunrs into 35 grams of sugar and fat.....just made up numbers, but the principle applies)

-Skim milk is excellent for burning off fat and the protein will help your body to tone up when combined with your exercises, giving you a lean look.

-Anything that burns calories helps. This includes being in the cold, as your body will burn more calories to stay warm

I'm prolly missing some things, but those are some key ones that may not be so obvious :)

maybe u have really slow metabolism. go talk to a doctor and they'll probably make a diet plan for u

try cutting back on your carbs

eat only twice a day. watch the cals and dont eat candy or drink soda ever again . =D

no time? wat are u doing at age 15 were u have no time? eating prob..sorry but u asked for it

when you weigh 180 then be worried but until cut back on your eating

150, you arent overweight.

it's easy..

1. dont snack
2. only drink water
3. watch your proportions! (we usually eat way to much at one sitting)
4. watch out for "bad carbs"
5. no sweets
6. exercise more than just 20 minutes if you can
7. Eat things that are healthy and give you the nutrients you need to have more energy-then you are able to work out more-which will help to burn off the calories you do eat
8. dont starve yourself-make sure you eat enough calories in a day- aim for 1,200 then burn off around 200 calories
9. The weight wont come off all at once. Its hard to lose the initial 10 pounds..but after that it comes off pretty quick!

I was in the same position as you..im 17 now but when i was 16 i weighed about 150 but then i went on the nutrisystem diet and lost 20 pounds in about a month. If you put your mind to it (and dont cheat!) you can lose the weight faster than you think! good luck!

ok wll u need to do cardio for 30 mins a day 5 days a week you should lift weights too and no it wont bulk u up. dont eat a bunch of veggies its not healthy u need lean proteins in your diet also u should eat every 3 hours breakfast, a snack like cheese or bread with peanut butter then lunch then snack later then dinner dont skip meals i work 12 hours from 7pm to 7am and go to the gym right after work so there is always time Good Luck

How is that you have no time? Are you doing after school activities or something? Make time! The best thing to do is start now. Get into sports at your school. Start counting your calories. Eat no more than 1200cals a day. Space it out over 6 meals. Eat a small meal every 3-4 hours. Make sure the exercise you are doing for the 20mins is very intense. Ideally you will want to exercising for at least 60mins 5 days a week. Get into good body habits now. Make time so you don't have a weight problem later in life.

80% of the way you look the way you do is because of how you eat. with that said its ok that you can only squeeze in 20min of exercise a day...just make sure its challenging enough for you. since you only have a short amount of time every minute counts. really get moving quickly and sweating hard. also you should purchase a few things to help you control your food intake: a small journal and pen you can take with you every where you go (to keep track of what you eat) and a kitchen scale so you can measure out precise portion sizes. calorieking.com will help you look up food items so you can keep track of your caloric intake. keep your caloric intake around 1500 calories a day and you will see results. remember, the more honest and precise you are when recording your calories the better able you will be to lose weight. don't guess because you will always guess too little. make sure you are eating something every 2-3 hours whether it be a meal or a light snack in between meals. this will help your blood sugar level stable which promotes immediate energy usage and reduces the incidence of calories being stored as body fat. a few books you might want to read are, "eating for life" by bill phillips and "the abs diet" by david zinczenko. both are not fad diets but teach you how to eat healthy and lose weight without starving yourself. they also include meal plans and recipes. hope this helps!
