Okay, So I am 5"10 and 120 lbs is that a good or bad thing?!

Question: Well I am a 13 year old girl and my whole family is tall and I am 5 "10 and 120 lbs. Is that Good or bad? I am a athlete so I eat protein and excercise and just play sports all day long. Is my weight going to be a bad health cause or not? I am always getting teased for my height and weight but i really don't care, if they make fun of me, its just sometimes natural to make fun of people. But i do care about my weight i don;t want to end up having a helth problem. I know that someday my height and weight will come in handy? I sit okay that I am that much in weight, if not, please tell me what i can do :)

You're 13, you probably have some growing left to do both up and out. You're an athlete and that means you burn calories all of the time. I wouldn't worry about either your height or your weight. You will likely be not only incredibly healthy, but very popular and an asset to your teams.

My friend's wife is in her mid 20's 5'10", is an amazing athlete and could've been a model if she wanted. Before her kids she was amazingly proportioned and probably weighed about 135# give or take.

I am male and 5'10", and i graduated High School at 125#. I was and still am active and an athlete. I was NEVER concerned about being too skinny, nor were my skinny friends. 30 years out of high school most of us skinny guys would love to shed about 10- 15 # compared to others who are 30 - 150# overweight.

Revel in your athletic and physical gifts. Keep active. You seem normal to me. Be a wee bit concerned if you are still 120# when you are 26.

you know thats a good thing! why even ask!?!?

you sound really healthy and in shape, which is never a bad thing : )
i'm only 5'2, 19 and wish i was taller, seriously there are tons of good things about being tall .

no..if you active then that is a great weight =] keep up the good work

you are a little underweight, but that sounds like an exercise issue. Try to do exercises that build muscle instead of burn calories.
im 5'2", and im 120 lbs.
and since your family's all tall, it also sounds like a build thing. so you sound healthy. just watch out and make sure you are intaking enough calories to keep up with that lifestyle.

Thats good. You must be really thin im 5'4" 120 im a fatty lol

well you are underweight and it probably wont be a huge problem but put some weight on and get to about 140 then you will be great

bad

at 13 you don,t have much to worry about ...you have probably attained close to your normal height..now your weight wiil catch up ,which may take time with that amount of exercise..continue to a good balanced diet, including fresh vegies, fruit, green salads ,get as much sleep as you can.. if eight hours sleep a day is normal for 13 you should be in good shape,if you feel like sleeping more do it..if you sleep a lot more then 8 hours a day for 60 days you might in with doctor,or research on the web medisen site..i wish i had your problems

your really in shape. thats good ! i wish i was more like that. your like prob a bit thinner then me and def. taller. i feel like a fatty, but im too lazy sometimes but yeah, dont worry, your finee.
