Have you tried freecycle? Go to yahoo groups and do a search for (you home town)freecycle and sign up. People in my area give them away all the time. It is a site to give away good items or to receive good items. I belong to the Shawneefreecycle. It was worth my time. All new posts automatically go to your email. Hope you get one!!
