Has anybody else put on a few pounds in weight since Christmas?!

Question: I have, but it always seems to take a few months to lose it again.

Answers: I have, but it always seems to take a few months to lose it again.

yes i have, got to go on a diet, to get them off again

guilty. well duh, you consume calories in seconds, it takes a while to take them off.

Oh yes, I've put on a few extra lbs. I find though that just going back to eating normally (rather than the Christmas gorge) that I lose it over a few weeks anyway, without exercising. Just fill up on drinking lots of water and eating lots of fruit - boring but it works.

a few, had a bit of a shock when I weight myself this morning!! So i've deided to cut down as from today, going like to dream!!

Only chocolate pounds ups.

yes but thats the idea isnt it, plz tell me it is lol

Yes dang it!! This is what I have to do.....

1. Choose what you eat wisely. Food is fuel for your body. If you eat bad food you will get bad results. Plenty of reference out there for the right way to eat. Lots of vegetables, fruit, little bit of lean protein. Stay away from processed foods - i.e. meals in a box!!
2. Drink water. Water is important because if you do not drink enough your body will hold onto whatever you put into it. That equals weight gain. 75% of all people who go to the gym that I work out at are moderately to seriously dehydrated.
3. Exercise at whatever level you are comfortable with. Start slowly and increase if you want. The most important thing to maintaining the healthy weight is to watch what you eat...not how much you workout!!! Moderation is the key!

Yeah, I put on five or six pounds. I was exercising on a regular basis up until mid-December and I was really watching what I was eating, and I had lost about 30 pounds in 2 months doing that, but I allowed myself too much bad-for-you stuff during the holidays and stopped exercising...well, what do you expect? Time to get back on the proper diet and exercise wagon!

I started putting on a few extra pounds in early November. I figure it is like hibernation weight. LOL! Honestly though, I work out 3-5 days a week regularly and my clothes fit the same as before I put weight back on (about 7-10 lbs). Pretty sure it will come off when the weather warms up (G-d I hope so !).

yup, who hasnt.

yes I have, now back on the straight and narrow. 6lbs extra weight.

I gained 3 pounds but i didn't indulge like i normally do.
Well okay maybe i did a bit but the chocolate were calling my name. I am not going to bother try to shift it. Life is to short.
How much did you gain?

No....not at all....you must be the only one!!!!

Yes,me too,I gained 5lbs,but have already strated to change my ways,I am hoping it will take about 6 weeks for me to lose, but hey no-one is perfect.

Good luck .x
