Question: 5 miles in 52 minutes, than how long will it take me to run 1 mile? I heard there is a way that you can accurately calculate the time you could run a mile in by using some sort of weird equation. And I am NOT talking about just diving 52 by 5, because I know I run faster than 10 minutes per mile... Can anyone help??

I ran five miles in that time and it took me just 7minutes to run a mile on another occasion. The only real way you can find out is by running the mile itself, if you can do five, a mere one is gonna be easy.
52 divided by 5 is less then 10 minutes, but you would have more energy with one mile, so it would be shorter then that. time yourself.

well, i agree with the others but something was forgotten. when you run a lot in a certain period, you get more tired than running just one mile. you will stop more often to catch your breath. so if you divide, it will be inaccurate.
