Protein and weight question below?!

Question: Protein and weight question below?

What PLANT based foods contain the most protein. I eat lots of vegetables and fruits everyday and I enjoy this plant based lifestyle. I don't eat soy foods so how can I get my protein from just eating vegetables and fruits?

I consume my fats from oils such as olive oil, coconut oil and flax seed oil.

This is not a diet but rather a diet lifestyle. Its a way of eating that I want to keep up for the rest of my life. So, ever since I started eating this way, I started loosing weight rapidly. After I have lost all necessary weight, will I gain it all back? Remember, I am not on a diet, I plan to eat like this everyday whether or not I need to loose weight.

Soy...

See the thing is, plants contain proteins, but it's hard for the body to break it down and use it.

If you eat an egg about 90% of the protein can be used by your body. Most vegetables are under 50% (exept soy, which, I believe, is around 75..?)

Depends what you do. If you keep with the diet, then probably not. You're just pretty much starving yourself..nothing you eat really gives the ability to gain much weight.

Beans is rich in protein and in fiber. And if you stick to your eating habits which should be healthy, no I do not think you will gain your weight back, only if you excersise, you'll gain weight, but it would be muscle.

try beans, seeds, nuts
