I'm trying to lose 60 lbs in 6 months...?!

That's a really good goal.

I don't think I'm really inspirational, but 60lbs in 6 months in very doable.

I don't count calories, but I do glance at them. I try to keep each meal within 200 calories [which is just an estimate, it's pretty much impossible]. Meals and snacks. And you should snack, just not constantly.

Drink more, it keeps you stomach full and you don't want to eat as much.

Smoothies are great. They're healthy [if you use proper ingredients] and filling. I have a book called Super Smoothies from Barnes and Nobles. I love it. It has smoothies for guys, girls, energy, weight consciousness, and kids.

Make sure you eat something, even if it's something small, before around 10a. If you don't eat something your body starts to think it's not going to eat for the rest of the day and doesn't burn calories the way it normally would.

If you're craving something let yourself crave it. If the feeling persists for more than 3 or 4 days then act on it. I get this way for fried chicken. We stopped frying foods a few years ago, but sometimes I just have to have it lol.

Don't eat until you're completely full. Your food will settle and in about 10 or so minutes you won't feel the need to eat more. This is the hardest for me. I believe in eating until you're full, but it's best if you don't.

Not everyone can lose weight just by fixing their diets. You may want to exercise too. I'll be walking a lot more come the 14th when I go back to class. When I started college I lost weight instead of gaining the freshman 15.

I'm trying to lose weight too. I need to lose at least 50 for a breast reduction.

Set smaller obtainable goals so you won't be so disappointed. It's do-able but will be difficult without dedication to diet and exercise. Good luck!

The best advice I would give you is to join weight watchers and stick to their healthy eating plan. Drink more water and walk more...
