Jump roping and tramolines?!

Question: If I jump rope or jump on a trampoline everyday for 30 minutes will it help me loose weight? Could I do it in intervals like 3 10 minute sessions or would I have to do it all at once? How long would it take to see results? All serious answers are appreciated =]

Skipping/jump roping burns calories FAST.
I once heard if you do it fairly vigerously for an hour you could burn about 650 calories.
Trampolines burn quite a bit too, but it depends if your straight jumping or seat dropping or what.
You could do it all at once if you want, it doesn't make all that much difference. It's probably better you do it in sessions.
You'd start to see results in a few weeks :)
Good luck!

What you're doing is a form of cardio-vascular exercise; this will of course burn calories and after 20 minutes will begin to burn fat reserves, thereby losing weight. The actual regime is not particularly important, but try and give all muscles used a good workout. As a general rule, if the muscles are hurting from strain, you're building them up. Don't forget that more developed muscles will increase your metabolism and burn more fat, even when not exercising. Also remember that muscle is denser than fat so your weight may stay the same, but your body fat percentage will decrease.

it kind of depends. jumping on a trampoline will add a lot of muscle in your legs. it would probably help you lose weight too. im not actually sure
