No way, unless a doctor says there is a medical problem. The genes affect your height, so if anyone in your family is short, chances are you will be, also. But, hey, Tom Cruise hasn't done too bad, has he? It is in accepting ourselves that we find happiness, not in height or weight or appearances. My son is short, because his father and myself are, and he does fine. He thinks big, and that is the secret. Don't let this wreck your self-confidence. Even tall people have low self-esteem, so being taller won't make you any happier inside.

Don't mess with your health. Check with a doctor if there is a problem in your growth, but never mess with nature. Better to be short, than ripped off , or worse, dead.

Some kinds of growth hormones can help, but I am not sure what the age requirements are. And most doctors will only give them if it is a life/death situation.

I'm with you, I'm almost 18 and I'm 5'5.5"

If you are that worried about it you can buy inserts to put in your shoes and make you taller.

Generally men stop growing around 18, so there isn't much you can do. If you're short or not as tall as you'd like to be you and others around you just need to accept that.

There are no treatments for being short, just enjoy your height. That just means more heals, and easier to find a man taller than you. Getting hormornes are dangerous because you cna grow to fast making your weight to much for your legs to handle. That can lead to more serious damages.

Not that I know of. But girls like "cute guys". I am two inches taller then my husband, and his "lack of height" has never been an issue!

Don't worry about your height. Be yourself and love yourself!
I bet you are a very nice person-let it shine! :)

i heard jump roping helps...
