You should try eating slow-releasing complex carbohydrates and then you won't feel hungry and need a 'quick fix'. Try rolled oats (porridge) for breakfast - without sugar, obviously. Perhaps sweetened with honey. A mid morning snack of a banana - that's sweet and will keep you going. For lunch maybe a baked sweet potato (lower GI than a normal potato), without lashings of butter, but maybe with some tuna and at mid afternoon, a handful of unsalted/unsweetened nuts - and beware of the hidden sugars in some trail mixes.

Once you get on the slippery slope of eating sugar, then it's harder to get off - try and eliminate refined sugar from your diet altogether and eat a well-balanced diet. DON'T go for sugar-free alternatives, these artificial sweetners can lead to all kinds of problems later on in life with your diet.

Natural foods, with natural sugars will help you avoid needing any quick fixes at all.

Hope this helps x

high sugar content can be found in fruit but to be honest you should have some sugar within your diet.. if your suffering then you need to relook at your eating programme

orange juice

There are no quick fixes. Diets do not work- hence why you want a quick fix. Drop the diet, eat a balanced, varied diet and you will be your perfect size. Women and diets... when will they learn?

Obviously loads of fat, desperate American women here who don't want ACCURATE advice. Pity.

I have hypoglycemia and my doctor recommended trail mix to keep my blood sugar stabilized. It has protein and some sweet in it so its good for you. The trick is to keep eating lots of protein so that your sugar doesn't drop too low. Granola bars are good too!

If a quick shot of instant sugar is what is necessary, so you can eat something more healthy later on, would instant mashed potatoes work?

Regular potatoes are supposed to have an extremely high glycemic index, and a quarter to a half a cup or mashed won't have too many calories. Plus it has some potassium and vitamins as well.

My advice....

Eat all you wish to eat BUT

make sure u r never full....

Quit eating while u still wish to eat some more....

This is called discipline.....

U could start by eating 3/4 of what u normally eat...
U could bring it down to 1/2 in a couple of weeks...
U will then realize that u r having a better diet; i.e., not depriving yourself from eating whatever u like, and still maintain your good health & reduced weight without torturing yourself or punishing your stomache......

EAT ALL U WISH , BUT MAKE SURE IT IS A MATTER OF (THREE) THAT U WISH TO ATTAIN AT ALL TIMES WITHIN YOUR BODY....

1) One third for Food...
2) One third for liquids; preferably water....
3) One third for Air.....

and remember...

Stomache is the door for illnesses & diseases....

U can monitor it accordingly......

Maybe u will thank me later on...just as I imagine will thank u for the 10 Points....LOOOOOOOOOOL
