i am on the pill, and my doc gave me the option of the shot, he says most people (not all) gain up to 30 pounds with it. it could be a smaller amount, but he says most girls gain some amount of weight, thats why i passed the shot option and went with the pill and i lost a little bit of weight. good luck
I suggest not doing the depo shot....it has been known for osteoporosis [bone loss]
well usually when you start birth control you gain weight

a friend of mine does the shot.
she hasnt noticed any weight problems.
it varies for each person.
if youre excercizing, water weight gain shouldnt be much of an issue.
when i started the depo i weighed 120, was on a healthy diet and exercise program but wasnt losing any wieght or maintaining, by the time i got off i was 180 so be careful, its different with everyone
