Well, I'm not Anorexic, my sister is. Shes in hospital at the moment in recovery. But i will give the answers to the best of my knowledge.

1. I'm 17, we are twins so so is she.
2. No, i don't have an eating disorder, my sister does. She suffers from Anorexia.
3.At my sisters worst point she didn't eat a thing. It changed from day to day what she ate though. Sometimes she might even eat part of a meal, if she was feeling ok. She usually ate as little as possible though, so usually nothing.
She went from 116 to 89 in about 1 1/2 months. Shes a skeleton.
4. She has/had many side affects. Her heart came very close to stopping, her skin is dry and cracked. Her hair is brittle and limp, and she is weak, so weak. She looks like a walking skeleton, and feels grossly obese. Her insides are damaged and her stomach cannot take in as much food, she has to be fed liquid food, like a baby, for awhile. Until she builds up the strength to eat solid food. The emotional side-effects are the worst though. She used to be very funny, she hasn't smiled properly in weeks though. Her confidence and self-esteem are rock bottom, she is depressed and loathes her body. She thinks she is fat, even when she is so close to dying. She wants t die basically, she is so desperate to look thin in her mind, she is prepare to loose her life for her cause. She is like a marter to her own disease.
Good luck, God Bless.

hi! i am 14, no i don't have an eating disorder, i eat 3 meals a day with maybe 2-3 snacks in between...my calorie intake is 2000 or a little less. i weigh 115 pounds. the rest of the questions i can't answer, but i know someone who can...they lost 15 pounds in about 2 months and the side effects were dizziness, headaches, nausea, etc. :] hope i helped!!

I have a relative that is anorexic. This is a very serious disease. She is in denial and although she weighs under 90 pounds she is in denial and when she looks in the mirror she sees a fat girl.

She consumes just enough food to stay alive. Her hair is getting very thin and her skin is pasty looking. Her clothing now has to be bought in the children's department. Yet, she is very happy about this and brags about it. She has started to have severe headaches which is attributed to not having enough nutrition but she blames the weather, job and school stress.

You can find out way more about this disease in the library.

Good luck!

My friend had a problem with an eating disorder.
It started freshman year, age 14, and lasted until the end of sophomore year, age 16.

In the beginning, she would avoid sweets and fats. Slowly, she would tell her friends "I already ate at home" as an excuse not to eat with us. We slowly started to see her get skinnier and skinnier. She drank a lot of diet snapple and water during the day, and maybe an apple during school. She didn't have much more than that for the rest of the day.

She lost a TON of weight, it was scary. Her boobs used to be around DD, and then it came to probably a B or a full A! Her legs were tiny, and her face was sunken in and scary. After she avoided eating, she probably lost 1 or 2 lbs a day, and then losing more each day after she really started not eating. Over the course of her disorder, she probably went from being around 125 to 95 lbs. That's an estimate.

She was also obsessed with exercising so she was burning calories that she wasn't eating, which is unhealthy. She would run miles and miles every day, usually around 5-7 miles! It was insane. She had never ran or exercised much before her disorder. The exercising helped her lose weight fast too.

Finally, her parents took her to get help, and now, junior year, she looks better, still skinny then she was before, but she eats now and looks healthier.

Hope I was help.
