I found this on this website.
No matter how you slice it, diet is a dirty word. It smacks of deprivation and hunger pangs. To overcome the pain, you need a plan.

So WebMD asked the experts for advice, and put together their quick tips on how to get your weight lossgoing.

1. Know Your Weight Loss Goals

2. Understand Your Weight Loss Personality

3. Double Up: Diet & Exercise

4. Make a Firm Weight Loss Commitment

Finally, be sure you're committed to losing weight for yourself -- not because someone else is pressuring you to do so.

Then, take things slowly, keep these tips in mind, and you should be on the road to weight loss in no time.

it is possible. quit drinking soda's and eating fast food! try and walk as much as possible =) Good Luck

well the magic words would be diet and exercise.. whatever you do, go the healthy route or else you will end up gaining it all back even faster..
drink tons of water, eat fiber, veggies (salads), fruits and lean protein and get started on your cardio! you may not see if come off right away but give it a couple of weeks and you'll see the difference!

A diet of 500 calories is by no means safe.
Cut down on your caloric intake, be strict with your diet and get plenty of exercise. Weight loss isnt magical, you have to work for it!

oh yaeh sure all u have to do is go to the sauna and do sports.....but do it for 6hours and 3 weeks my dad lost 40 pounds

You can also use or buy lepin weight loss injection, they really work because i saw it in a few co-workers they loss about 30 pounds in less of a month!

Well, first off, anything is possible. But that doesn't mean it is the right way. I'm in the same boat sister. My advice it to only drink water. Do not eat any starchy foods(bread, tortillas, corn, potatoes) and try and get as much exercise as possible. I don't know if you will lose 20 lbs by February but I'm sure you will lose quite a bit this way. Good Luck!

stop drinking soda or really sugary drinks. After 3 months of doing that i lost like 8 pounds. Also if you stop eating as much as you do now it help, by like moderating meals and eating less but more times a day

DONT DIET! they dont do anything. eat healthier foods and cut back on junk. exercise regularly.

It is possible if you are careful and follow a strict diet and exercise program. First try to detox your body and only drink water for three days and only eat veggies. then just eat healthy for the the rest of the time and you will be fine. Good luck!

weight watchers is a great program

no this is not possible in a healthy way. You should only lose up to 2 pounds a week and thats about 6-8 pounds a month.

There is not a healthy quick fix to this problem. You are like me. Short.

I started out 4 years ago working out and hated every minuted of it. The ironic part was that I started gaining weight.

I was 123 lbs and 5'1". I got up to 132 lbs and was totally discouraged.

That is when I started doing step aerobics. Now I am addicted to it. I have lost 17 lbs in less than a year and have kept it off in a healthy way. I am 115 but have lost over 25 inches on my body.

I did not change the way I eat or anything, just my workout.

3 x per week. A short term goal like 20 lbs by February is not healthy.

Maybe end of Feb... not the beginning though, and even at the end may still be a bit unhealthy. One thing you can certainly cut from your diet (if you are on a diet).. is sugar!... sugar is terrible for you, and it just turns right into fat.. so, if you eat a lot of sweets, try and cut back a lot on those.

Also, start a work out routine... I do cardio for about 45 mins, then lift for a half hour every time I go to the gym (4-6 days a week)... You also need to eat healthy.. eating healthy is very important when trying to loose weight.. just working out isn't going make you loose weight.

So, for starters... start going to the gym and doing a lite work out, and get more intense as you get into better shape.. and also eat healthy

Good luck!... you'll see results soon if you stick to your diet, and exercise!

EDIT: DO NOT listen to Jason K!... 500 calories a day is NOT healthy!.. you need at least 1200!

Look if you want to lose weight you have to work out. There is no quick fix diet.If you want it bad enough you need to put some work into it.I guarentee you will feel sooo much better and it helps your physical and mental health.I lose about 3-5 pounds a week.I do cardio on a stationary bike for 45 minutes to an hour.I watch TV or listen to music. It will be hard at first but you get used to it and the time goes by quick. Also I do 3 cycles or push ups, situps and other weight lifting exercises.I do this about 5-6 days a week. It's all about getting into a routine. Also you need to watch what you eat.drink plenty of water.Soda and juice has alot of excess sugar.Stay away from fast food and just eat normal meals at home.It makes a huge difference. But don't try to starve yourself, it will make weight loss alot longer. You can lose weight just be healthy doing it.

I lost 20lbs in 20 days. Here's a good site I found that really helped. It gave me great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I was doing wrong before...
